Dr. Ashida.TS completed her MBBS degree from JIPMER Pondicherry and subsequently did her specialisation in Internal medicine and received her MD degree also from the same institute.
She did her superspeciality training in interventional cardiology from the reputed Southern railway headquarters hospital.
She was awarded the gold medal in Cardiology for standing fist in the national level by the Honourable Loksabha speaker Smt Meira Kumar and Sri Gulam Nabi Azad, the Health Minister of India in 2009 at Delhi
She is trained in transradial and transfemoral angiography and angioplasty, BMV, PPI, and device closures.
She also has a special interest in preventive cardiology, cardiodiabetology and heart disease in women
